Beach Olympics

The two day event began in a Country House hotel in Kent, with a business session, dinner and overnight accommodation.

 

On the following morning we transferred all guests via coach to a beach on the East Sussex/Kent border for the Beach Olympics.

 

Activities were largely fun-based though with team prizes up for grabs and particpants encouraged to be as competitive as their colleagues would allow! The Olympics consisted of ten activities, with particpants allocated in teams of four. Each team has to complete each of the ten activities which included:

 

• Beach bowling
• Water balloon volleyball
• Hula Hoop Curling
• Bucket relay
• Sandcastle building
• Frisbee golf

Breakfast, a barbecue lunch and all-day refreshments were on offer and a prize giving ceremony held in a local pub. There were particpants in the group from around twenty different countries so it was important that briefing sessions – and the activities – were clear, concise, unambiguous and easily understood.
